This Privacy Policy applies to the Thing Remover mobile application (the “Application”), developed and published by LCD Media Games (the “Service Provider”).

The Application is provided on an “AS IS” basis and is intended solely for image editing and object removal functionality.

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects limited information strictly necessary to provide its core functionality.

Image Uploads and Processing When you use the object removal feature, you may upload an image and mask data (your drawing on the image). These images are:

  • Transmitted securely to a third-party AI image processing service (Replicate API – https://replicate.com).
  • Used only to generate the edited result (removing the selected object).
  • Not used for analytics, advertising, marketing, profiling, or AI model training by the Service Provider.
  • Not permanently stored by the Service Provider.
  • Automatically deleted by Replicate after processing, according to their data retention policies.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to upload and process any image submitted through the Application.

2. Purchase and Subscription Information

The Application offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions (e.g., Pro Access).

Purchase validation and entitlement management are handled by RevenueCat. The Service Provider does not store payment card details or sensitive financial information.

Purchase data (such as an anonymous App User ID) is used only for:

  • Verifying subscription status.
  • Restoring purchases.
  • Enabling or disabling premium features.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services to function:

  • Replicate API – for AI-powered image inpainting and object removal.
  • RevenueCat – for subscription management and purchase validation.

Each third-party service processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. The Service Provider does not control how these services independently handle data.

4. How We Use Collected Information

Collected information is used solely for:

  • Performing image editing and object removal tasks.
  • Providing and maintaining app functionality.
  • Managing subscriptions and granting access to Pro features.
  • Ensuring service reliability and fraud prevention.

The Application does not use collected data for:

  • Third-party Advertising
  • User tracking across other apps or websites
  • Marketing communications
  • Personalization beyond core functionality

5. Data Retention

  • Uploaded Images: Retained only for the duration of processing. Once the AI returns the result, the data is discarded from the processing pipeline.
  • User Images: No user images are permanently stored on the Service Provider’s servers.
  • Purchase Data: Retained only as required for subscription validation and legal compliance.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data through the Application, please contact us immediately, and we will take appropriate action.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encrypted network communication (HTTPS).
  • Restricted access to API services.
  • Minimal data retention practices.

However, please be aware that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your data, including:

  • Access to personal data.
  • Request deletion of personal data.
  • Restriction or objection to certain processing.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted with an updated Last Updated date. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
