These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the mobile application SnapSpace: Duplicate Remover (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”), developed and published by LCD Media Games (the “Service Provider”). The Application is provided as a Freemium service and is intended for use “AS IS.”
By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Intellectual Property and Usage Restrictions
All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights associated with the Application and its content remain the exclusive property of the Service Provider.
You are not permitted to:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, translate, reverse engineer, or decompile any part of the Application.
- Extract or reuse any source code or content.
- Create derivative works based on the Application.
- Use the Application’s trademarks or branding without written permission.
2. Modifications and Charges
The Service Provider reserves the right to:
- Modify or update the Application’s features, design, or content at any time.
- Introduce charges for new or existing services or features (e.g., Premium Subscriptions).
Subscriptions: Some features of the Application may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed via Apple’s App Store and are subject to their payment terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID settings.
3. Use of Personal Data
The Application processes personal data as described in its Privacy Policy. This is limited to:
- Device and usage data for analytics (to improve stability).
- Subscription or purchase-related data (to validate Premium status).
- Advertising identifiers (if using the free version with ads).
Note: The Application does not collect, store, or view your personal photos or videos on its servers.
4. Local Processing & Content Responsibility
a. Local Processing: Unlike cloud-based services, SnapSpace processes your photos and videos locally on your device. You retain full ownership and control of your media library. We do not upload your content to external servers.
b. Deletion Responsibility: The Application helps identify duplicate or similar photos, but the final decision to delete any content rests solely with you.
- Review Before Delete: You acknowledge that you are responsible for reviewing selected photos before confirming deletion.
- Recovery: Deleted photos are moved to the “Recently Deleted” album in your iOS Photos app, where they typically remain for 30 days before permanent deletion.
- Liability: The Service Provider is not liable for any accidental loss of data, photos, or videos resulting from your use of the Application.
5. Third-Party Services
The Application integrates with several third-party service providers. By using the Application, you also agree to the terms and conditions of these providers, including:
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics
- RevenueCat – for managing in-app subscriptions.
- Google Ads (AdMob) – for personalized advertising.
- Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) – for marketing analytics.
Each third party may process your data according to their own policies.
6. Advertising and Analytics
The Application may display personalized ads (in the free version) and use analytics tools to improve the user experience. Ad networks may collect anonymized usage data and device identifiers (e.g., IDFA). You can opt-out of personalized tracking via your iOS settings.
7. Internet and Device Responsibility
Some features of the Application (e.g., subscription validation, loading ads) require an active internet connection. The Service Provider is not responsible for:
- Lack of functionality due to no connection.
- Data charges or roaming costs.
- Device issues, including battery drainage during heavy photo scanning operations.
8. Updates and Termination
The Application may be updated from time to time to improve functionality or compatibility. You agree to:
- Accept all updates when offered.
- Understand that failure to update may result in loss of access or functionality.
The Service Provider may also terminate the Application or your access to it at any time without prior notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
While the Service Provider strives to provide accurate and reliable services, all data, content, and results within the Application are offered as-is. The Service Provider is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on the Application.
- Failures caused by third-party services.
- Data loss due to user negligence or failure to recover items from the “Recently Deleted” folder in time.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Istanbul, Turkey.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on this page and reflected with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
