Effective Date: August 30, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Reverse Play (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our mobile application, Reverse Play (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
Our primary goal is to provide you with a great user experience. To do so, we handle different types of information.
1. Audio Recordings (User-Generated Content)
- What we collect: Reverse Play requires access to your device’s microphone to perform its core function: recording audio.
- How we use it: The audio you record is processed locally on your device to reverse it and apply effects.
- Storage and Access: Your audio recordings are stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to, collect, listen to, or store your audio recordings on our servers. You have full control over your recordings.
2. In-App Purchases
- When you make an In-App Purchase (e.g., to unlock premium features), the transaction is processed securely by Apple through the App Store.
- We do not collect or store your personal payment information, such as credit card details. We only receive a confirmation of the transaction from Apple to unlock the purchased content within the app.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to help us operate and improve the app. These services may collect information from you.
- Firebase (Google) We use Firebase for the following purposes:
- Firebase Analytics: To understand how users interact with our app. This service collects anonymous, aggregated data such as session duration, features used, device type, and operating system version. This helps us improve the app’s functionality and user experience.
- Firebase Crashlytics: To identify and fix crashes. If the app crashes, Crashlytics collects anonymous information about the crash, including device state, which helps us diagnose and resolve bugs.
- AdMob (Google) Our app displays ads from Google AdMob to keep the basic version of the app free.
- AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized advertising. This may include your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, device information, and non-precise location information.
- You can learn more about how Google collects and uses data and how to control the information sent to Google by visiting Google’s Privacy & Terms site: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information that we collect from or about you from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
